PREFACE

A FAMILY SHOULD NOT DEPEND ON ONE PERSON REMEMBERING EVERYTHING

At 7:12 on a Thursday morning, the Santos household discovered five ordinary problems at once.

Eleven-year-old Leo needed a signed permission form that had been left inside his school bag. Seventeen-year-old Maya had an early revision session but the car was almost out of fuel. Daniel had moved a client call because he expected to take his mother, Celia, to a clinic appointment. Rosa had already arranged to take Celia because the appointment letter had been delivered to her email. The electricity account showed an overdue amount even though both adults believed the bill was paid automatically.
